The 2021 IPSL Virtual Spring School “Climate Change: Challenges and Issues for the Earth Sciences” will focus on Earth observations and their use. It includes webinars and online discussions on the many components of the climate system and its complex interactions. This School will also provide a taste of studying in the Paris area.
Some of the themes addressed are:
- Societal needs and research frontiers in the ocean
- Exploring Earth observing systems to study the atmosphere : climate variability and changes
- New Trends in Climate Modeling : anticipating the future
- The Earth climate from the sky
- A journey in the stratosphere
- The dynamical landscape of marine ecosystems
- The Earth observing systems, instrumental challenges and the use of data
